Well sure, I concur that the availability of information is not the issue. If the average citizen read JihadWatch daily, they’d be scared out of their minds. I am absolutely sure that is why we don’t get the full scoop from the US government; they have to keep us happy to keep the economy … well … going. Reminds me of a great line from Men In Black, “There’s always an Arquillian Battle Cruiser, or a Corillian Death Ray, or an intergalactic plague that is about to wipe out all life on this miserable little planet, and the only way these people can get on with their happy lives is that they Do… Not… Know about it!” The mainstream media’s contribution is that they are (by their own admission) 87% liberal, and they must get a democrat in the oval office. Ergo, the jihadists are really not all bad. They must be buddies, because every jihadist I’ve ever heard of is pullin’ for a democratic victory.

I work in the computer science field and my goodness the internet gives the average person access to enormous amounts of information. The frightening reality is that too, too many Americans are not in possession of there own minds due largely to television. It is television that has prepped so many to be so willing to open their heads and hand their brains over to a charlatan like Al Gore. Lochness, Bigfoot, crop circles, Chem Trails, Area 54, and now Global Warming! We are swimming in a sea of lithium dependent schizoids. They’ll believe in unicorns but will never acknowledge the evil threat that is Islam until their heads are being sawed off.

Ignorance of the severity of the Islamic threat I find incomprehensible. With free and plentiful information about the threat knee deep around us, how does the public remain so uninformed? I suspect our government doesn’t want us to know the true nature and scope of the threat. It is clear that the informed citizenry, we who understand, are going to have to carry this torch to the masses. Rhetoric hasn’t worked. The only things people seem to be able to grasp are tangibles, like buildings crashing to the ground. Even then their memories are short.
