Congressional Interns from Hell

Rep Sue Myrick is now a target of Islamic fundamentalists who desperately want to shut her up.  She is NOT and “Islamaphobe,” but that is the weapon of choice used by stealth jihad apologists and defenders. In this op-ed piece, she responds truthfully and poignantly about the attempt to deliberately place CAIR interns at the highest levels of United States national security. Last week, I held a press conference on Capitol Hill attended by three of my colleagues in the House of Representatives to call for a federal investigation (s) into a non-profit group called the Council on American Islamic Relations (C.A.I.R.)

Here are the facts:

1. CAIR has documented ties to the terrorist organization HAMAS. This is stated fact by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

In an April 28, 2009 letter to US Senator Jon Kyl, the FBI wrote the following:
“As you know, CAIR was named as an unindicted co-conspirator of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development in the United States v. Holy Land Foundation et al. (Cr. No. 3:04-240-P (N.D.TX.). During that trial, evidence was introduced that demonstrated a relationship among CAIR, individual CAIR founders (including its current President Emeritus and its Executive Director) and the Palestinian Committee. Evidence was also introduced that demonstrated a relationship between the Palestinian Committee and HAMAS, which was designated a terrorist organization in 1995. In light of that evidence, the FBI suspended all formal contacts between CAIR and the FBI.”

In case you are not familiar with the Holy Land trial referenced above, it was a Dallas, Texas trial that ended with guilty verdicts on 108 counts of funneling money ($12 million) to HAMAS.

2. The purpose of our press conference was to make public an internal CAIR memo that documented CAIR’s stated goal of placing CAIR interns in the offices of members of Congress, especially the members who serve on the Homeland Security, Judiciary and Intelligence Committees. Let me be clear here, CAIR, a group whom the FBI says is affiliated with the terrorist group HAMAS, is trying to place their interns in the offices of those members who serve on the three committees that handle national security related issues. National Security is the first responsibility of the federal government.

3. Following our press conference, CAIR, immediately labeled we four members as bigots and started their public relations campaign to discredit us by claiming that we were against Muslims working on Capitol Hill. We never said that. At no time during our press conference did we even insinuate that we were investigating Muslims being interns on Capitol Hill. Our focus was and is on CAIR and CAIR alone, not Muslims.

Likewise CAIR tried to make this a Republican vs. Democrat thing, because the four members at the press conference happened to be Republican.

How then does CAIR explain Democrat Senator Charles Schumer’s call earlier this year for a government-wide ban on CAIR in the federal government due to their ties to HAMAS? Democrat Senator Barbara Boxer has likewise made public her opinions of CAIR and any Google search will find her remarks.

4. CAIR is spending time, money and energy to position themselves as the spokespeople for the moderate Muslim community. Problem is CAIR is not a moderate Muslim organization. It is a radical front group for HAMAS. So who is CAIR competing with for this designation? The real moderate Muslim groups/individuals in America. Groups and individuals like the following who are committed to countering Islamist extremism:

Zeyno Baran – Director for the Center for Eurasian Policy at the Hudson Institute
Farid Ghadry – President of the Reform Party of Syria
Manda Zand Ervin – Founder and director of the Alliance of Iranian Women
Omran Salman – Arab Reformists Project, ‘Aafaq (Arabic for “horizons”).
Dr. Zuhdi Jasser – American Islamic Forum for Democracy
Karim Bromund – Director of Inter-Religious Affairs for the Islamic Supreme Council of America

I SUPPORT the Muslim individuals and groups mentioned above. These groups renounce terrorists and their radical ideology. They are trying their hardest to be heard and recognized in America, but are being overshadowed and out-funded by CAIR. Today, when something happens that impacts the Muslim community, the media calls CAIR (an unindicted co-conspirator to terrorism and a HAMAS front group) for comment on behalf of American Muslims. What an insult the media is performing on the Muslim community. Instead they should be calling Muslim groups/individuals like those named above. This is part of the reason we are focusing our attention on CAIR and exposing them for who they are. For one they pose a threat to our national security, and two, they deny the ability of legitimate Muslim groups to gain credibility.

5. In July of this year I held a summit on Capitol Hill where I introduced the leaders of eight moderate Muslim organizations to the heads of several US Agencies, Members of Congress and congressional staff. For example, they met with representatives from the State Department, USAID, Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense. See through the lies and realize what is really going on here.

We are trying to expose a HAMAS Front Group (CAIR) for who they are, and they are crying we are anti-Muslim hoping that media outlets will ignore the terrorist claim and instead pick it up as a race/religion story. When those claims don’t work, they claim it’s a Republican political thing.

Americans, on this subject we need to stop the Republican vs. Democrat, Conservative vs. Liberal, Christian vs. Muslim division and unite on one simple point…. CAIR is a front group for HAMAS. It was named as an un-indicted co-conspirator in a terrorism case that lead to 108 convictions of funneling $12 million to HAMAS. Because of the evidence produced in that case, the FBI severed all ties with them. This same CAIR, by their own admission, is trying to place people inside the offices of members of Congress who deal with national security issues (judiciary, homeland security and intelligence committees). I serve on one of those committees, Intelligence, am the co-chairwoman of the House Anti-Terrorism Caucus, and have spent the better part of the last four years working every day on terrorism related issues.

If we Americans fail to set aside our political, religious and ideological differences and unite when we encounter the enemy in such stark and plain terms, then God help us.

Mollycoddling Maniacal Dictators

Obama’s Islamic advisor (Dahlia Mogahed) no doubt has told him that Islam is a “religion of peace” and all of Iranian president Ahmadinejad’s bravado about a new, previously untold underground uranium enrichment plant is just a bunch of saber rattling to gain attention. I’m sure Obama’s also been told that the recent test of Iran’s Sahib-3 missiles with 1,200 mile range (enough to strike Israel) is just a routine test.

Obama – and most liberals – desperately want to believe that these people are civilized, and that we can talk them out of their desire to “wipe Israel off the map” by just understaaaanding them. By being seeensitive to their desires, we can cajole them into working hand in hand with the rest of the world. Unicorns and rainbows will herald a new era of peace because we taaaalked with the maniacal dictators, and they took our message to heart and really believed us when we showed them through our humble apologies and disarming ourselves and removing missile defenses from our (former) allies. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and Ahamadinejad and Netenyahoo will sing Kum By Yah together.

Answer this question:

When in all of recorded history has a maniacal dictator ever put down his weapons and layed down his armies because someone talked him into acting peacefully?

You already know the answer: It has never happened. Hitler. Pol Pot. Hirohito. Keep going. A weak America doesn’t make dictators more willing to work with us, it makes them more willing to attack us and crush our allies us by any means while they have the opportunity.

Ahmadinejad strongly adheres to the Shiite belief that the return of the Mahdi will restore peace rid the world of error, injustice, and tyranny (go figure!). That is great, until you understand that the Mahdi will only return after “the world is washed in blood” – World War III – and Ahmadinejad wants that!

The left desperately doesn’t want to believe this truth: WWIII accomplishes the Shiite goal of “the return of the Mahdi.” Millions of Muslims believe this with excitement, including Iranian president Ahmadinejad. And collateral damage (his own people, and other warriors for Islam), and “innocents” (that’s probably where you would put yourself) don’t matter. In his mind, death brings righteous Muslims into paradise quicker, infidels get their right place in hell, and praise Allah, the Mahdi is almost here!

Check this video, especially “hasten the return of the 12^th Imam, the Mahdi” (at :46, right out of the maniacal dictators mouth at the UN last week).

There are only two groups of people with Islam. The first is dar al-Islam (the “house of Islam”). Those who have submitted to Islam (and “Islam” means “submit”) are in that category. If you’re reading this, chances are you are not in it. There is only one issue on the table for Ahmadinejad: “will you submit fully to Islam, and institute shariah law in place of democracy?” If the answer is “no” (and it is), then we live in dar al-harb (the house of war), whether you like it or not, and whether you agree with it or not. You don’t even have to do anything to make them angry: you are a filthy plague on this earth by your very existence, and those who are within Islam (“his pure household and his noble companions” per Ahmadinejad’s own voice above) have a duty to cleanse the world. Remember, Osama Bin Laden declared war on the West, and fundamentalist Islamists are at war with you, and what are you going to do about it? If you’re not going to convert to Islam and join the jihad against the infidels, then you are the enemy.

Fundamentalist Muslims don’t want to talk,

they want Islam to prevail at any cost.

(and you’re probably getting in the way of that by breathing).

There are peaceful Muslims, but there is no peaceful Islam.

As one blogger put it: “Obama’s unclenched fist policy is failing miserably.”

My own letter is below:

Dear Governor Crist,

 

The Rifqa Bary issue has reached a national news level, I’m sure you know.

 

I am writing to encourage you to do what is right for America. Muslim groups are watching closely, as are thousands of young teens like Rifqa who are cowering under Islam’s thumb in their own house. They cower not just over perceived apostasy from Islam, but for fear that any perception that they are Western in any way will bring about an honor killing in their own home.

 

We are the land of the free, and the home of the brave. A brave girl has struggled to escape for her life, and to escape the Islamic prescribed mandate for apostasy – death. It is written clearly in the Islamic Hadiths (“sayings” of Mohammed), and supported in Surah 18 of the Qur’an. All four major schools of Islamic thought agree on this prescribed death sentence, it is not up for discussion, though Muslim groups in the US and abroad would have you believe otherwise…

 

Because her parent’s lawyers and CAIR are putting a spin on it that is in accordance with Islamic teaching as well:

*  “Kitman,” which means “withholding all of the truth (to advance Islam)” and

*  “Taqiyya,” which means deception against an enemy (in this case, you and our infidel laws).

The Qur’an condones lying and deception as long as it advances Islam.

 

If you buy into it, you will likely be sending this young girl to her death, or at least to an insane asylum in Sri Lanka. That would be a tragedy of epic proportions.

 

This is also the land of the free. Rifqa is now free, and in her heart she will always be free (in Christ), but she won’t physically free – or safe – if you return her into the hands of Islam.

 

Please do all you can to guarantee her safety, and keep her in Florida.

Your Rifqa Bary Update

She is spared from a homebrewed Islamic execution, for now.  New hearing September 1st, so now is the time to contact Florida Governor Christ.

First, here’s ACT for America founder Brigitte Gabrielle on FOX, trying to enlighten the masses about the real danger of allowing Islamic sharia law to have a grip anywhere.

How about THESE:

• It appears Rifqa’s dad (and mom) were hastily closing their business and preparing to blast back to Sri Lanka … why is that? And were they going to blast back after they killed their daughter, or take her to Sri Lanka for execution or to be put in an insane assylum (for becoming Christian).
• Rifqa’s dad is on the defensive (of course) and claims he wouldn’t lay a finger on her. What’s he supposed to say? “Hey, just send her back and I’ll cut off her head; quick and painless, and it will be all over!”
• An un-informed media sides against Rifqa.
• The American Thinker has additional insights. Including chapter and verse from Islamic texts regarding what to do with apostates from the Muslim faith.

It is VERY clear if you read this that you should IGNORE the talking heads at CAIR (and their Saudi funded defense for Rifqa’s parents). The Qur’an itself says it’s okay to deceive people and lie in order to further Islam (and Islamic ways). I said it before: if evere there were a time to lie about Islamic law, the mandated death of a 17 year old girl for converting to Christianity is a great time to do it.

Pamela Gellar at Atlas Shrugs rightly says, “Rifqa Bary is the highest value [Islamic] target in America. She should be under 24 hour guard. Period.”

Have your heard of Rifqa Bary? She could be the latest literal victim of political correctness, and Islamic fundamentalism right here in the United States. Meet Rifqa. Hear how her heart aches not to be sent back to her father who has pledged to kill her.

Her dad says – through a spokesman – I will not kill you. Jihad Watch’s Robert Spencer retorts, “what does anyone expect Rifqa Bary’s parents to say? “Yes, please send her home so we can chop her into little pieces”? Of course he’s going to kiss and make up with his hallal (dirty, forbidden), filthy, family-name-smearing, stinky, disobedient, embarrassing, dishonoring, little apostate Christian bitch of a daughter. Actually now she’s an unbeliever, so she is worse than a dog.

Dad’s new tactic is to say that a cult brainwashed her, but the facts prove otherwise.

Islamic authorities are busy putting up the lies to protect themselves, but the truth (and Islamic verses contrary to their lies) are here. Islam supports the killing of apostates in order to perpetuate Islam.

I like to think locally. This story is more local than you think. There are 26 “official” mosques in the Puget Sound area, and an unknown quantity of “unofficial” house mosques. One Seattle Times story estimates there to be 75,000 Muslims in Puget Sound. What are the odds that with perhaps a few thousand Muslims here in your neighborhood, that there is ONE “Rifqa Bary” hiding out, fearing for her (or his) life, and hoping upon all hopes that their parents don’t find out that they are Christian. There’s well over 5.2 million Muslims in the United States. Now how many “Rifqa Bary’s” are there?

Rifqua pleads, “This is not just some threat. This is reality. This is truth. … How many more cases do you want? There’s hundreds of them. I am one. I am one of hundreds. They have to [kill me]. You guys don’t understand.” And that is the truth.

Pray for these children.

A pastor and his wife in Orlando, Florida that have taken Rifqa in for her protection. She is 17 and nearly of age to make her own decisions. But what if she was 13 (approximately when she became a Christian)? Or five? What can a 13 year old – who knows well the punishment for falling away from the “Religion of Peace” – do? 

You may need to be the protection.

The reporter in the video asks, “Do you really think that this is true, or do you think that this is just a threat?” She cannot believe that something so ridiculous as killing you own child for becoming a Christian is possible. And that is the problem that Rifqa faces in America. Some judge somewhere in Florida could say, “this girl’s confused and exaggerating, and she needs to be returned to her parents.” Where they will kill her in strict accordance with the very words of their faith. It IS unbelievable. There are moderate Muslims, but there is no moderate Islam. The moderate Muslims among us are not reading their Qur’an. Strict adherence to Islamic law is unbelievable!

If ever there were a time to lie about Islam for the sake of Islam, the purposeful killing of a 17 year old girl for becoming a Christian might be the time.
